The Stipula Leonardo DaVinci Capless Celluloid fountain pens are an elegant retractable design featuring Stipula’s innoative, patented capless opening mechanism. The twist retractable 14k gold stiflex nib is paired with stunning celluloid materials in tribute to the master artist and engineer, Leonardo DaVinci. To activate the twist mechanism, simply turn the barrel of the pen. Doing so opens the half-moon and extends the nib. To “close” the pen, simply twist the barrel of the pen in the opposite direction.

The Stipula Leonardo DaVinci Capless fountain pen uses a cartridge converter filling system* compatible with standard international-size ink cartridges and converters. The pen includes one converter (already installed in the pen) and one ink cartridge. Pens are packaged in the classic red Stipula pen box with information on the pen, the brand, and how to use Stipula fountain pens under the false bottom of the luxury pen box.
To access the cartridge converter filling system simply pull the barrel away from the section. The pen comes with a push-in piston-style converter already installed in the pen.
